I've noticed this both in the regular game play and in highlights. In highlights, the new score appears on the scoreboard before the play. SO I'll start a highlights, it'll say 3-0 right away just before a FG is scored, then it goes to 6-0 and a second FG is scored. I've noticed this on the regular game play too, the yardage increments prematurely. Immediately after the previous play ends, the run yards increments by 5 yards, and the very next play is a 5 yard run gain.
