I agree, the major changes are mostly focused on the salary cap and trades. However, there several smaller changes worth mentioning that improve the user experience and interface. There is a quick confetti shower on the NBA and G-League Champion screens, the schedule is now displayed using a calendar view, restoring the depth chart places players in the correct row instead of just fixing the minutes, all answers are visible instantly when contacting a free agent in the offseason, and there is a breaking news feature for major injuries to star players, major trades, and significant players on the trade block because of team relationship issues.
