Random personality

Good evening. There are things that spoil the impression of the game quite a lot.
1) A small thing, but there are so many other little things like this in the game. Banchero's contract currently works as if it were the first two years of a rookie, I can activate the additional two years even though they don't initially show up as a team option. Editing through the database has no effect
2) More critical thing. Why does the personality type change for all players and coaches with each new save? This should not be the case - this will lead to the fact that every new save of actually played teams will have conflicts and exchanges of their leaders. Randomize checkboxes are all disabled

1. I will correct that in the next build - its just a wrong setting in the database. He should have his rookie option available column set to FALSE since those are the two final years of his initial rookie contract left.

2. The randomize player traits gives random results to loyalty, motivation, work ethic, greed etc...if you do not randomize those they all just get set at a neutral level. The personality type changes every time regardless because there's no "neutral" personality type. You can turn off in the options screen "use player interactions" and then it will just ignore the personality stuff.

I don't have any way of rating 600 some players with how they feel about greed or what their personality type is and say it is accurate in any way. How much does Caleb Houston care about playing for a winner? How high is Jett Howard's work ethic? How much more loyal is Cory Joseph than Goga Bitadze? These are impossible things to quantify but if you want to take that on and provide me ratings in all these things and which personalities should fit each player for all 600+ players I'd gladly work in so there is a default, non-random option. Otherwise the only options are either randomize it or just give you an option to turn it off so that it doesn't impact anything and that's the reason it works the way it does.

Thanks! I also see a problem with Chet. It is written that at the end of the contract he is a UFA, although he is an RFA. How can I edit the database myself? I didn't find such a column in the Players table

And one more question please. Why does RFA almost always accept a tender offer? And then in 90% of cases, after a year, it is renewed with this team. During the simulation, there was never a time when the AI extended an RFA player without a tender offer, with the exception of offer sheep

On Chet that is an interesting issue - the problem is the game is checking to see if he will have four years experience and was a first round pick since that is what any rookie on his expiring 1st round pick contract would have...except Chet technically will only have 3 years experience at that point because he missed his entire first season of the contract so I either have to give Chet a year experience or have to come up with some way to check his weird situation

As for the tender offers - I think the AI really takes a conservative approach here. It figures it can match an offer so why make one now. If the player accepts a lower offer somewhere else than they would have paid they can just match it and the AI comes out ahead. If not they get the guy cheap for one year and then have to pay to play in the open market like anyone else next season. What it maybe needs to take into account is that a player might not like that strategy and might refuse to sign back the following season because they are mad about it. Its something I will look at further.
