a few comments from a newbie

just got the game and still kicking the tires but a couple of things I have noticed playing out a few games, rebounding seems a bit off, what I mean is they seem a bit high, overall, that is...seeing numbers above current NBA averages...and not seeing enough variation in turnovers...turnovers are relegated mostly to steals and not to traveling violations, player stepping out of bounds, errant passes, shot-clock violation, 3 or 5 sec violations (grant it the 3 sec one is more common)...also, I have yet to see a tie up resulting in a jump ball. But not to be a total wet noodle, the overall presentation of the game is really nice and UI is pretty smooth...over and out...

another observation i am seeing while playing out games in 2d is on shots that don't result in a basket or shooting foul, i am seeing some variation, albeit not enough imo, on what happens to the ball after the shot...most of the time i am seeing either a def or off rebound, but on occasion i do see the ball being knocked out of bounds by the def (but imo not enough, maybe once a game)...what i haven't seen yet, is the ball, after the shot, going out of bounds resulting in change of possession...also haven't seen any over the back fouls during rebounding...continuing to kick the tires...

ummm, is there a way to sort in-game stats by quarter?

No stats are not kept by quarter in the game

so, 12 games in and saw 1st shot clock violation...so it is in the code, so maybe needs to be tweaked a bit, at least imo...

I also play the game in 2d and have noticed a couple of things. I have not seen a foul on a 3-point shot, which I would expect happening, but not as much as a foul on a 2-point shot. Also, I noticed I had a player receive 2 technical fouls in a game but was not disqualified, I may be wrong but I thought 2 techs meant disqualification.

I love the game, btw.

I just started playing 25, and I just have one comment so far that's not worth it's own thread.

I just want to comment on how good the default logos are. Some of them look good enough to be actual logos for real teams. Like the Colorado Timerjacks, The 2 future stars conference logos, Memphis Roar, San Antonio Outlaws, Washington, Westchester Metros, Sacramento Royals, Orlando Mystics, Los Angeles Commodores, Denver Peaks. All these logos are better than the majority of the logos I see looking around at minor league/semi-pro & amateur basketball.

Major kudos to whoever on the WS team came up with those designs. A lot of them look phenomenal. Better than any other set of default logos I've ever seen in a sports game.

I also really like the details of having the ambient sounds in the 2D game (though, I wish I could have a volume slider). And I like the touch of having the animated signage at the scorer's table.

I would like to see some people sitting on the bench, and maybe a little bit more realistic arena, like, the seating around the court doesn't feel great. But minor nitpicks. But yeah, overall, visually, maybe the best looking sports sim game I've ever played.

Thanks for the positive feedback!

Some of the default logos were created by me and others by a man named Paul Yuan way, way, way back when I first started the game (albeit under a different name and was for a different company) and they have remained in the game for every iteration of it since. Paul was a great guy and fantastic graphics man!
