I can't update game!

Just purchased the game V25 and it says go to your email that you purchased to get 9.0.8. Well, I did that, and I just got the 9.0.0 I originally downloaded. Can't you make this easier? Where the hack is the download? It would be easier to for the user to hit the link of the said update and download. Frankly, I have had this game for a few days and have not played one sim as the mods don't work either. I don't think I will be back again as I was looking forward to playing some historical football. I even tried the current day mod and that did not work. I remember when this game had the historical players in the game itself.

The installer itself will stay on version 9.0.0, but if you downloaded a recent copy the game itself will be 9.0.8. You can see the actual game version version on the opening screen as well as from the help menu. There is only one download link that will always be the latest version of the game. Most likely you're already on the latest available if you just bought the game.
