Holdouts

What can I do with holdouts?
1. Can I release them without penalty?
2. Do I have to offer them a new contract?
3. If I don't want to offer them more money, do they just take up a spot on my roster?
4. I don't see an email from them telling me what they want. Am I missing something?

1. Penalties are set in configuration, so you'll be subject to whatever percentages you're using.
2. Yes, or they'll continue to hold out... in some cases they'll give up, end their holdout, and decide to play
3. Yes, they will continue to take a roster spot unless you release them
4. Typically they want pay raises or more security in line with other performers in their class at their position
