Scholarships

2 things...
-is there any need to spend any time on recruiting if you have no scholarships to give? Can all the whole recruiting budget be put into wellness, ameneties, etc?

-If you release a scholarship player, is the schollie available to use right away? Are there detrimental changes (coach reputation in the eyes of recruits for example) if a coach does this too often?

Releasing a scholarship player will give you that scholarship to offer right away (you can't replace the player right away so you will have one less player on the roster) and will cause a hit to your school prestige. However you can ask a player to transfer at the year end tasks and that will not cause the prestige drop.

As for not doing any recruiting - I would say there are still benefits to doing the recruiting because one if you don't use your budget the school is not going to approve more and two you can still help your coach and your asst coach improve your ratings by doing the recruiting tasks. You also can dump it all into the training and wellness categories - I wouldn't do more than the minimum in amenities because if you're not recruiting that one's kind of pointless since its really geared to have its impact on recruits
