Low scoring and more build variance

After a while, there are about 7-8 players averaging 20+ points per game, most of whom are freshmen or D2 transfers. Shouldn't freshmen PPG be toned down a bit, and junior/senior PPG be boosted so that more upperclassmen become 20+ PPG scorers? Right now, freshmen usually win Player of the Year, which should be a very rare occurrence.

Also, could we have more playmaking bigs and a greater variety of overall player types? Right now, they are almost nonexistent.
