Can't Complete Year End Tasks

Just finished my first season and I'm unable to advance past the year end tasks. I also haven't been able to use meetings this whole first season. When I open the meetings screen, the drop down menus to select groups and persons just do not work. I don't know if that's what's holding me up on my year end tasks because I can't speak to the board or what. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you select an assistant coach job (maybe by mistake?) - you wouldn't be able to do those things if you are an AC
