Yeah, I noticed that as well and even got a commitment from one who originally had all high majors in his top 5.

So as I keep playing I am seeing more and more D2 transfers signing with High Major Teams. I just ran a test and in the last transfer season, 39 D2 players were signed by Power 5 teams. Of these 15 were signed in the first 4 transfer sessions and most of these players are now starters for their teams. The first player signed was a PG by Kentucky who they paid over $300k to in NIL money. What this tells me is that there is a lot of talent in the pool of D2 transfers. While I personally think these players are too good given the lack of many successful D2 to high major teams in real life, if Gary is going to keep it this way, it seems necessary for the user to have some idea which of these players are good enough to scout and recruit. Without any rankings or statistics this is impossible. If the CPU can tell certain players are worth pursuing, the human player should be able to as well.

I see in the latest update "Continued evaluation of D2 created players" is mentioned. I am hoping Gary can tell us exactly what that means.

I tweaked a few things there to see if the D2 talent is more in the range of what everyone is expecting.

Here's an interesting article on Drake that started 4 players who transferred from D2:

So, I have brought up a few transfers from D2 and recieved several 3 star equivalents. Havent really seen anything higher than that, but they make for good bench players.

I would love to see players in a particular recruiting class of the say 1,800….. some don’t sign due to grades etc. and many don’t sign period ( I’m guessing on the avg of 1,800 recruit class maybe some 1,200 sign leaving 600 or so unsigned that typically just dissapear

It would be nice if these were the ones deemed to go to D2 and then the next season they might be the D2 players showing up. Maybe a highly ranked guy upped his grades and is now eligible etc. it also would keep in some of the back end ranked players not signed to get a bit of experience and slight bump to be recruited now as a d2

That's an interesting idea - would have to be a future version but I could see doing it and maybe letting the players keep their interest in your school so you could recruit them again as a transfer or something like that.
