white/black screen

On Friday evening there were some reports of the game having a white or black screen that just lingers and prevented play in the game.

I have also heard from multiple different people today that the issues that were happening yesterday are no longer happening. If you had the issue can you please confirm how things are looking today?

I would suggest restarting your computer first and then try to load the game and let me know what you are experiencing. If you are still seeing the issue please let me know is it steam or not steam version, when your last windows update was and what the build of Windows you are on is. I am not seeing this when I run the game on my computers either in the developer code or as a standalone exe and I have tried both on steam on a laptop and the wolverine store version on my desktop. I thank you for your patience as I work through this

Don't know if this is helpful but I completely exited the game at the end of the day yesterday. When I started up again today everything's been fine so far. I use Windows 11, and am NOT on Steam.

I've had this issue and it seems to be better after I updated my PC and restarted my computer. One issue I am having is after taking a new coaching job, the screen freezes and it takes a few minutes before the game will proceed.

I'm curious about your second sentence because this has happened to me several times. Ultimately I just use Task Manager to exit out and I literally have to restart my computer and try again in order to get past this screen the next time. It sounds like I need to be more patient because, apparently, the screen will eventually unfreeze, but we're talking minutes, not seconds. Does that sound right?

I also do NOT use the option to know all ratings.

But I've not experienced the white screen of death after than one day, and while there are actions were DDSCB has to grind away for a bit longer than I'd like, it seems to be on actions where it's running a series of actions or having to update or calculate or complete a number of things...e.g., running the entire coach hiring actvities or the asst coach hiring activities or identifying which players on all the teams will be transferring...and of course, end of season. While far from being patient, I take a deep breath and wait...or go mow the yard (just kidding).
