I am noticing there are more blocks per game than real life when i play the game. So i decided to sim into the future to see if maybe it balances out. If anyone is seeing the same thing, please reply.

So i decided to sim into the future to see if it is similar to numbers today.

This is simming up to Jan 6.

In the game:
No.1 team averages 9.7 blocks per game. 2nd highest 9.5. Between no.3 to no.39 above 6.1 bpg to 8.5 bpg.

Here's the real life team leaders in blocks. https://www.ncaa.com/stats/basketball-m ... t/team/214
No.1 team averages 6.2 blocks per game. Only 3 teams with over 6 blocks per game. Next 15 teams with at least 5 blocks per game.

Summary.
Game simulation 41 teams above above the highest team in real life.

Blocks are high in DDSCB. During beta testing, at the end of the first season of an association here's what I found:

Highest number of bpg by a team:
DDSC25: 8.5
Real Life: 6.9

Lowest number of bpg by a team:
DDSCB25: 1.3
Real Life: 1.1

Median team's bpg:
DDSCB25: 3.9
Real Life: 3.5

I didn't run that association beyond the first season so your stats for that situation seem to indicate bpg may rise a bbit over time in DDSCB.

Besides blocks in the game, i decided to look at each statistical category to see if it is similar to the real world.

Steals in the game is more aligned with the real world. I decided to look at other statistical differences between real world and DDSCB. So no issue.

Assists per game did stand out. DDSCB the highest was 20.4 per game while the real world is 19.1. However DDSCB has 39 teams with higher than 19.1 assists per game.
DDSCB 50th ranked team has 18.9 assists per game. Real world 50th ranked team has 15.8.

Total Rebounding per game looks good. Offensive rebounding seems to be more in real life than DDSCB.

Turnovers look pretty good.

FG% looks pretty good. FG% too. 3PT attempts good.

FTM appears to be higher in DDSCB than real life. Real life: Highest is 20 FTM per game. 4 teams with 19 FTM or more. DDSCB: 21.7 FTM per game. There are 10 teams with 20 FTM or more. 32 teams with 19 FTM or more.

3PT% appears to be higher in DDSCB than real life. Real life the highest was 39.8%. DDSCB the highest is 43.4%. 21 teams higher than 40%. 23 teams with higher than 39.8% as an example.
