3/9: We play #6 seed Seton Hall, 17-10, 9-9, in the quarter finals. We lost by 1 there, won by 11 here.
3/10: 81-70. We led all the way. 7 players had 10 or more. 12 RBs for Center Tag Hunt. We play 7 and they have all been doing their part.
#2 seed, #25 ranked Providence, 22-6, 14-4, in the semifinals. We won by 17 at home then lost by 25 there. They are very strong inside but we think we are, too.
3/11: 20 TOs, poor inside D, and unusually weak bench play did us in. 22, 6 for Chap, 13, 5, 3 for Evan.
21-9, 12-6, RPI #15. We’re hoping for a #4 seed.
3/12: #7! With an RPI of 15 we’re a #7? Outrageous! We’re in the Midwest and we play #10 seed North Carolina ST, 18-12. They have a very good outside game, and an excellent SF.
3/16: 60-74. They took an early lead and expanded it to 20. We never led, and really never got close. Not happy with the way we played in the post season.
We’re losing our entire starting front line, Chap, Hunt, and Evan.
4/3: #1 Kentucky won it all.
4/4: Awards: Cris Chap made Big East 1st team. That’s it.
4/9: No decent offers.
4/23: I ask for a budget increase. Got $11,000.
21-10, 12-6, Overall 107-52, .673.
Dust storms are destroying land over a huge area of the u.S. millions are losing their small family farms.
The world situation continues to be unstable and dangerous.
While the U. S. and world economy really are not any better, at least here in the U. S., due to FDR’s policies, far fewer are starving and freezing.
