Getting radically different results simulating vs playing

Every time I play games out I get destroyed, then when I simulate games I completely dominate. I am wondering what the reason could be for this discrepancy between results of games played out and simulated?

Guess your coordinator is a better play caller? Try selecting the plays they suggest and see what happens?

I don't call the plays though, I just hit auto mode. How do I get the same results simulating as playing games out?

It seems when I click the play that the ai comes up with the results are the same as when simulated. However when i just keep it on auto play call mode i get destroyed.
