Watching games - a coule of questions

Watching games - a coule of questions

Postby dim13 » Sat Oct 07, 2017 9:09 pm

When watching games (CPU controlled teams):

1) Is there any way to pause the game and stop it from going into the next play ?

- I need more time to read all of the player stats on the screen while the game is playing out. I'm a slower than average reader.

2) During the animated play-by-play, is there a way to slow down or speed up the plays. At the end of close games, I like to run the plays in super slow speed as the play unfolds. I would like to control the speed of the plays.

Thank you

theres a slidebar where you can control the speed, this affects both the graphics and the text.

Sorry but I don't see a sidebar anywhere, or any controls to adjust the speed. I tried reinstalling and restarting my computer.

There was one in Pro Football 2016, but I don't see one for Pro Football 2018.

It may have gotten lost in the move to the full size field view in one of the patches. Will look into it.

Slider bar was added to patch 2.0.4 (thank you), but there is still no way to pause the game (in watch game mode).

If I get interrupted while watching a game, need a way to pause the game - no way to do so now.

There was a pause button in Pro Football 2016. There were also Previous and Next Play buttons that are missing in the 2018 version.

I can probably set it so that if you move the slider to the slowest setting it effectively pauses the game.

all i do is uncheck the autoplay so the game stops after every play. the coaches still call the plays- all i have to do is press call play to execute their calls

autoplay is only available when one of the teams playing in the game is human controlled. for cpu vs cpu games, there is no autoplay option. my preference is to set all teams to cpu controlled and watch the games and seasons play out.
