Auto Mode - Play screen view

Auto Mode - Play screen view

Postby Dermot » Tue Oct 31, 2017 6:46 pm

When viewing the game view, after clicking the *auto mode* box for the game to randomly pick plays, inbetween plays it flashes back to that menu. Is this by design? If so that's awful. If I want plays to be randomised and play on their own, why would I want a screen to flash up in between plays instead of a seamless back to back experience.

Is there a work around to this?

It goes back to the menu to show you the result of the play, allow you to turn off auto-mode and view box score, call a play or timeout, etc. If you have no intention of stopping for anything you may as well click on Sim Game and then Watch Game to see the replay. That allows you to speed up the action a bit more and not wait on the play screen as long.

Clicking Sim game and then watch game shows me a really dumbed down version of the game. The ball "teleports" into receivers hands, the screen is narrowed with awful contrast kick returns and punt returns arent shown on the big screen and the same with interceptions. Wouldn't it make sense to have an identical view whether you were watching the game or coaching it? The same in depth screen opposed to that generic screen thats the exact same as DDSPF 16's

I am. I take it there's no way to remove the play screen popping up in between plays then?

Watch Game should show you the same view, it just flips to the call play screen for a second or two (there is a slider) so that you can see the text results of the play, pause the game, etc. Then it moves on to the next play.
