QB Rushing Stats

QB Rushing Stats

Not sure if there is a setting I have changed or if the game isnt geared toward this, but QBs are not putting up NFL type numbers for me (ie AI teams).

Across the season Lamar Jackson had 39 attempts for 51 yards. Plenty of others had negative yardage numbers as well, Mahomes, Watson, Wilson.

Are you running QB run plays and is the QB set to run often? That factors into rush attempts for the qb.

Its the AI QBs that looks like a problem to me.

How can I force them to do those plays, do I need to go into each team and change their schemes?

Not sure. Maybe the devs can explain how the UI manages and recognises QB types?

This seems like a huge issue that surely needs picking up?

Another quick sim and Lamar Jackson is returning negative rushing numbers. I dont know how to force teams to make their QBs scramble... I mean his personal attributes look good enough, but for whatever reason he is clearly just taking sacks and nothing more.

I would assume that the game would look at whether the QB is a scambling QB in the traits and if he is make him rush more. But I do not know for AI.

I know in multiplayer this is not an issue as human GMs play to the strength of the QB.

Just googling around and it seems like this wasnt an issue in PF20, so hopefully a quick fix for the guys to get the AI to use their dual threat QBs to work correctly.

I'm putting a tweak into the AI playbook generator so if they have a running QB they'll use the QB running plays more often.

I'm hoping to have a patch out asap (this weekend) for some of these initial issues. After that it depends on what comes in... we don't really have a set release schedule.
