New to the game, few questions:

I searched the forum but did not come across a manual to help. If there is one, link would be appreciated.

Ratings, seem offensive players have higher ratings than defense when looking...is that accurate?

Coaches, if I want to fire and hire a new coach where do I find them?

Injury setting...anyone find a setting to simulate NFL style injuries? very high?

I am sure I will have some more...thanks to those who respond with any insight.

The offense tends to have higher OVR in the default roster set the game shipped with. You may find other import files in our mod forum that have a better balance.

You can fire coaches and "hire internal" during the season... but otherwise you use the coach hiring stages to make offers to other coaches around the league.

You can turn up injury setting in the game options screen. Took me a long time to figure out how packages work. But now that I have a handle on it I can get the players I want on the field when I want them.

Thanks...How about Trade Block...Can you put players on a trading block? How do you get teams to talk trade with you?

yes there is a trade block. its available from the the trade screen accessible from a button on the top right. And you can view players on the trade block from the search screen.

Here’s a new one...just played my first preseason game and upon completion the option to save the game has disappeared. I have no way to save or exit the game to the main menu. Looks like my only option is to control alt delete and shut the game down. Did that, restart game and again no where to exit or save the game.

Could this possibly be the solve to this, I was playing the game without Wifi while at the fields during my son's practice, however, when I came home and my laptop reconnected to wifi it worked.

Questions...does the game randomize ratings each time a new game begins?

Yes, the default rosters have variability built into them so they're not the same each time you create a new league.
