Glitches/issues I noticed in single player

1. If you sim a season but don't save the league and re-sim it, the player's stats are not reset on their playercard
2. Retired players will show the current year in their stats with all 0's
3. For active players, the seasons are sometimes out of order on their playercard
4. Draft recap will sometimes only display the #1 pick and no other picks despite how far you are in the draft
5. I mentioned this in another thread, but drop-down menus not working is extremely annoying

Non-glitches that should be improved
1. When simming the playoffs there is no way to quickly get through an entire round. If you hit "Sim Wild Card" you still have to click "Show Score" for every single game
2. Something to be looked into is contracts. Players are resigning super easily compared to previous versions (almost never asking for a raise) and teams are still letting elite QBs walk after a couple years. This is just with out-of-the-box rosters/financials
3. Add search back to compare players, also allow you to compare the bars side-by-side
4. Trading is nearly impossible in single player. Teams will refuse to give up a top pick or player no matter how much you offer them. I get this is to prevent abuse but if I offer up 3 1sts and a 2nd I should be able to get a top 5 pick

I'm not sure what the plan is but I would love to see another patch on this game, maybe after CF21 comes out, to fix these issues and ones that have been mentioned by other people.

Am I the only one who has a large number of safeties happening? I just finished week 1 of my second year. Had 2 safeties happen during my game. So I took a look at historical stats and have had 87 safeties in my league so far. I looked at the actual NFL stats and safeties are not as rare as I imagine them to be. I think there have been 23 in the NFL this season so far.. but 87 in a season plus one week seems like a lot.

My guess would be a range of playbooks you are using is causing this as wel as the rosters. We don't have an issue like this in multiplayer.

Make sure you are on the latest version... could be some of the penalty calculations were contributing to it.

The bug that is contributing to this is that offensive penalties close to the end zone are not being treated as half the distance to the goal. They're carrying the offense into the endzone and the other team is getting safeties off the penalties. There's probably a ton of extra safeties coming from that.

I logged it here a while ago but I don't think it was fixed in the last mini update.

You guys have to stop simming so much and start playing/watching some of those games! You see more stuff that way.

In any case, even with the penalty bug, there's a lot less safeties in this years version. In the couple of seasons I played on last years version it was insane.

I am a fan of the game and want it to be great. This is one of a SMALL list of things I think need to be fixed. I'm a player that is looking for the ultimate single player simulation. You guys are so close to what I want that maybe I'm being unrealistic. If multiplayer leagues are the focus and they have no issues then I wouldn't change anything.
