Try now. I'm on a slow connection currently, so if it's still not appearing I'll fix later.

What file sharing site are you using? Lately I've had no success inserting images from the file sharing site that used to work for me (mediafire). For us cheapskates, who use it for free, they removed the links that work here.

Used to use photobucket, but they're now putting up a paywall so that's out.

Iona picked up their first victory of the season, and the first career Division I victory for Travis Greenleaf as the Gaels went on the road to Bryant and polished them off by more than two dozen points in an 91-63 victory. They're now 1-1 on the season before heading into their home opener in a few days against Brown.

Trent Crosland put up twenty-five points and five rebounds on 12-of-18 shooting, hitting his only free throw attempt. Doug Peacock and Danny Chambers tallied fifteen and fourteen points, respectively. Chambers hit 2-of-3 from three-point range, and the Gaels were 8-of-14 overall from deep.

Iona led 29-18 at the under-8 media timeout, and from there, went on an 11-2 run to widen their lead to 40-20 at the under-4 break. That twenty-point lead was their largest lead of the half, as they led 47-29 at the halfway point.

"Basketball's a pretty simple game at times, we had some players that hit some open shots, and I thought our defensive effort was there," said Greenleaf. "You do those two things, and the flow of the game typically falls into place from there."

Bryant (0-2) was led by senior Matt Pittman's fourteen points off the bench in seventeen minutes, with guard Maxwell Clifton scoring eleven, and forward Pete Johnson tallying an even ten points.

It was domination from start to finish, as the Gaels led from wire-to-wire in a 66-21 drubbing of the Brown Bears for Travis Greenleaf's first home victory as the head coach at Iona. Junior forward Trent Crosland collected just one rebound, but led all scorers with sixteen points and two steals in just twenty-three minutes of action. Fletcher Owens was next in line with eleven points in twenty-one minutes, including a pair of threes and two assists.

Iona out-rebounded Brown 26-11, and shot a solid 26-for-49 from the field (53.1%), but hit just five-of-sixteen shots from the outside.

Led by Crosland, the Gaels got out to a 12-0 lead, with Crosland scoring eight of the team's first dozen points. Threes from Owens and Skyler Ellis increased the lead to 22-4 at the under-12 timeout, and after an offensive dry spell that lasted roughly six minutes (and netted the Gaels just two points), Iona went on another brief run, this time a 10-2 run to push the lead to 34-8 with two minutes to go in the half. They would go on to lead 35-10 at halftime.

Greenleaf was satisfied with the victory, but wasn't pleased with execution at times offensively, especially in the second half.

"We got a little bit sloppy with our execution after halftime," he said in his post-game press conference. "Part of it seemed to be getting a little careless with the ball, we relaxed a bit when we had the big lead."

Keon Wills and Jeremy Silva each scored four points for the Bears, and only one other player scored three, forward P.J. Murray.
