Hereafter

12/21: We fall behind early, then come back. Down 1 after 10.Up 6 at halftime. Up 3 with 10 left; max D and man.

75-68. Their D kept them in it but they couldn't score enough.

15, 3, 8 for Jank, 18, 5 for Mara. 16, 0, 4 for Ston but 7 TOs.

+15 RBs but 15 TOs. They shot 51.1% to our 38.7% but we took 15 more shots and made the same number of baskets. +8 at the line was the difference.

Ty Hart, #3 guard, strained his abdominals. Out about a week and a half. Brum is back.

A week off then at #14 Brigham Young, 10-3, our last pre-conf. game. They're a good team, especially at home, but only 3-2 vs. ranked teams.

Lots of commotion late last night, or rather very early this morning. I can't get out of the cell so I have no idea what it was about.

12/27: It is VERY quiet on the ship and I am being told nothing. I don't ask. I see no one but my guards.

12/28: This one could be a challenge.

They're not missing, we are. Down 9 after 10. Comeback! Down 3 at the half. Max D to start the 2nd. Up 5 with 10 left. I go to man with 5 min. left.

91-77. As usually happens when I go to max D and man, good things happen. I don't start in max D or man because we tend to foul more with those.

20, 11, 5 blocks for Bett, 22, 7, 6, 3 steals for Jank, 17, 4, 9 for Ston. +9 RBs but 14 TOs. Shooting pct. was almost identical but we took 8 more shots.

We swapped 4 teams into the conference to make it stronger. The strongest of the 4 is #3 San Diego ST, 12-1. We're there next to start PAC 12 play.

They're good all around and have a solid bench. We think we're better but they haven't lost at home.

1/1/2037: Still in my cell except when I'm coaching. Still no info regarding what's going on.

1/4: Back and forth early, then they take a lead. Down 9 after 10. We're coming back. Down 13 at the half and we'll go to max D and man to start the 2nd. Not working so far. Down 11 with 10 to go. Doesn't look good. BIG comeback, 14 straight points. Then 12-1.

84-68! This was our best comeback maybe ever. They scored 6 in the last 10 minutes.

20, 10 for Bett, 17, 9 for Mara, 17, 3 for Brum. We definitely won it inside and on the bench. Hart had 9, 2, 3 in his first game back from the injury.

11 TOs. We held them to 32.2%, less than 25% in the 2nd half. +22 in the paint.

I was told that my trial will be held at the end of the month. I asked about a lawyer. I was told that a member of the Council will represent me- that would be the new Council, so I'm screwed. I asked if I could represent myself. No I can't. I asked about the Captain and the rest of the old Council. No answer.

At 9-4, 0-1 Washington next. They're better outside than inside. They really don't score many points, and we should easily control the inside.

1/7: Big early lead. Up 12 after 10. And then a big run. Up 15 at the half. Up 23 with 10 left.

72-50. Low scoring but we were in control all the way.

Balanced scoring, 6 players had between 13 and 9. +13 RBs. We shot poorly, 39.1%. They shot horribly, 27.7%. +12 in the paint, +11 on 2nd chances.

9-5, 1-1 Gonzaga is here next. They're new to the conference. This looks like an easy win.

1/11: Their SG can do some damage.

Back and forth early. Then we take a lead and expand it. Up 18 after 10. A ridiculous score of 50-19 at the half; Bett is out scoring their whole team.

Up 42 with 10 left.

92-39. 25, 8 for Bett, who turned an ankle. It's not serious and he won't miss any time, but I sat him for the last 15 minutes. 14, 8 for Savo, 10, 10 for Mara, 11, 6, 6 for Jank.

+18 RBs, 6 TOs. We held them to an embarrassing 23.6%. +22 in the paint.

9-5, 1-2 Stanford is here. We're back to games I don't even want to play.

No idea what I should do to prepare for my trial. It's obviously going to be a kangaroo court so it probably doesn't matter.

I am not being treated badly except for the total isolation from everyone else on the ship and the complete lack of knowledge about what's going on. I'm fed the food I would get in the cafeteria, and I get to choose what I get for each meal. I am not harassed in any way. But it's maddening not to know anything.

1/14: Back and forth early. Up 4 after 10; they're playing well. Up 12 at the half despite poor shooting. My bigs are all in foul trouble but we're up 18 with 10 to go.

81-67. We did not play well but the talent differential got us through.

18, 4 for Mara, 15, 4, 3, 3 steals for Jank, 11, 10 for Bett, who played 16 minutes due to fouls.

+10 RBs. +14 on 2nd chances.

At 12-5, 2-2 Arizona. Their only chance is to hit lots and I mean LOTS of threes.

We're still ranked #1, NET #1, 17-1, 4-0.

I keep thinking about the trial. Of course my legal counsel has not met with me or communicated with me in any way.

1/18: We start slow. Up 2 after 10; not hitting shots. Up 6 at the half but we're still not hitting shots. We go on a run as the shots start falling. Up 16 with 10 to play.

85-55. 49-25 in the 2nd. When we're on we're a 2nd half team.

21, 13, 7 blocks for Bett. 18, 10 for Savo, 12, 9 for Mara, 12, 3, 6 for Ston.

+21 RBs. Not happy with 18 TOs. We held them to 32.2%. +12 in the paint.

I'm putting Ston on the Point. Jank is the better scorer and Ston is the better defender. While most teams have an SG who can score I want the better defender pressuring the Point Guard. They 're both very good defenders.

13-5, 4-1 Oregon is here. They're a good team, and they're playing well in conference. The stat sheet gives us an edge in every category, and a BIG edge in TOs.

Obviously the Counsel has realized you're communicating to the external world.

Remember the days when this NEVER happened...just roll the dice and use a pencil and paper.

Ah the old dice roll days!. The computer isn't completely dead. I can get to the Task Manager screen. I don't know any geeks where I live now but it may be savable. Both my daughter and my daughter-in-law are good with computers. Going through withdrawal though.
