Got another "issue" with regards to recruiting. The recruiting regions seem too restrictive. As an example, I am coaching Wyoming. Denver is only 120 miles away. Yet, because Colorado is in the Great Plains, and Wyoming is in the west, I have next to no shot at getting traction in Colorado. Yet San Francisco is over 1,000 miles away and I have no problem getting traction there. Still can't get visits, (those seem to be locked into WY and ID and occasionally MT only). Yet, Fort Collins, Colorado is 65 miles by car from Laramie, WY.
Another way to look at it. Cleveland State's team in real life this year has 14 players on their roster. Only 4 of the players are from Ohio. 3 are from outside the MW region. In a previous save, it was impossible to have that diverse of a roster.
In conclusion, I think recruiting needs to open up more.
