What skills are best for NB?

There is no skill rating for NB. I assume it most closely aligns with CB, but often SS & FS are suggested for that position.

Can we get a little guidance, or examples of what folks experiences are?

I could be totally off, but I look at the position as a CB/S hybrid. I look for someone that has good speed/agility like a corner, but then also has higher strength/tackling like a safety does. They typically play closer to the line of scrimmage so will be more involved in the play if the other team runs the ball. If you find someone with the “slot corner” trait they usually are a good fit there.

If you have the defensive coordinator set the packages, it's usually a linebacker at the nickle. I always have to adjust that myself.

For Nickelback, you pretty much want a guy who reminds you of what you really are. Usually you can find that kind of talent at the bottom of every bottle.
