1. C, Jim Turner: The premire center of the draft, he has a lot of upside.
2. PF, John Towns: My personal favorite player in the draft, I am really hoping that he falls to number 5, although I don't suspect he will. Towns has a good post game and plays defense.
3. C, Alex Singletary: Essentially a consolation prize for whomever misses out on Turner, or Towns not a bad prospect but 3 is pretty high for him.
4. SG, David McDermott: My second favorite player in this draft, a great shooter who can flat out score.
5. SG, Bryan Hall: Hall is essentially a lesser version of McDermott it looks like. He would be a good pick at number 5, but I doubt he will ever light the world on fire. Hall also seems to have an attitude problem which I really don't like.
6. PG, Jamar Underwood: A very raw but talented PG, he shoots first passes second, but his athletic ability is hard to ignore.
7. C, Alonzo Price: He is mostly high in the draft because of potential, he really hasn't shown much at the college level.
8. SF, Marco Sharp: Sharp absolutely killed in college scoring more than 30 points per game, it may be hard to ignore this prospect even with the number 5 pick.
9. SF, Akakide Saginashvili: A skilled Estonian who no one knows too much about, he is the mystery of the draft.
10. SF, Lance Nabors: A raw prospect, definitely a project.
11. PG, Gordie Smith: A pass first point guard who could with proper mentoring make an impact in the NBA.
12. SF, Rahim Towns: An older player who went to all four years of college, he is not spectacular but he is a safe pick to make an impact almost immediately.
13. SF, Robbe Ray: A Belgian slasher with a lot of confidence that he can make it on the biggest stage in the world.
14. SF, Kyle Webb: Undersized SF/PF who somehow gets rebounds and scores despite his physical limitations.
My top 5 picks.
Number 1: John Towns(I will pick him if available)
Number 2: David McDermott
Number 3: Jim Turner
Number 4: Bryan Hall
Number 5: Marco Sharp
