That left one scholarship to fill in the spring. I was definitely considering going after one of two very talented JC big men. But then because of my concern that PG Nate Augustus may transfer due to his poor relationship with both me and the entire team, I decided to go after a PG. I passed on a highly rated JC PG to go after a little lower ranked PG from Germany that Greg Bivins clued me into while I was visiting Greg in Germany last summer. We landed him in early April:
PG Heinrich Neubauer, 6-3 HS Sr, Stuttgart, Germany, 3.2 GPA, SAT: 1070. Stats: 17.9 ppg, 3.7 apg, 4.8 rpg, 1.9 spg, 1.8 bpg. Good scorer with good outside shooting ability, Good ball handler, weak rebounder, very athletic, rarely missed practice, hard worker. Ranked 101st. Overall rating: B.
