11/13: 86-74. 25, 8 for C Lar Brag, 17, 10 for PF Pat Mack, 20 for guard Ben Hoge.

#1 seed, #12 ranked Kansas in the 2nd round. I think this is more challenge than we’re ready for.

11/15: 81-84. We battled them all the way, 23 lead changes, 11 ties. Brag fouled out with 1:33 to go and that was that. But this game bodes well for the season ahead.

11/20: Both recruits sign.

12/25: 7-3, RPI #71. +8.2 PPG (#54, #119), +6.5 RBs, +4.7 TOs.

1/29/2023: 16-4, 9-1, RPI #34. +8.6 PPG (#15, #124), +6.9 RBs, +4.4 TOs. 2 game lead in the A 10. Lar Brag leads us with 20.1, 11.5, He’s for real!

2/26: 22-7, 14-4, ranked #24, RPI #26. +8.0 PPG (#17, #131), +6.7 RBs, +3.2 TOs. We win the A10.

3/7: We play #9 seed ST Louis, 14-14, 8-10, in the quarters. Favored by 2 ½.

3/8: 91-69. 22, 13 for Brag, 24, 6, 4 for Hoge, 21, 5, 2, 5, 3 for Vic Walk.

#12 seed Richmond, 13-17, 7-11, has managed 3 straight upsets. Our job is not to let it be 4. Beat them by 21 and 16.

3/9: 89-77. 25, 7 for Brag, 23, 4 for Walk.

#2 seed GW, 22-9, 13-5, for the title. We won by 15 at our place but we’re underdogs by ½ point.

3/10: 101-75. We were amazing tonight! 22, 5 for Brag, 16, 5 for Mack, 9, 12, 12 for PG Joe Phil who barely missed a triple double. 20 for Hoge.

25-7, ranked #22, RPI #23. Hoping for a #5 or a #6 in a good bracket.

3/12: #6 Midwest. We play #11 Stanford, 19-12. They’re favored by 2 ½, mostly because of their strong outside game.

3/16: 76-69. 23, 11, 4 for Brag, 24 for Hoge.

#3 seed, #13 ranked Arizona, 25-6, in the 2nd round. We’re favored by a ½ point.

3/18: 88-100. We scored plenty of points but we didn’t play D. 23, 10 for Brag.

4/3: #2 Michigan is the champ.

4/4: Awards: Lar Brag is A 10 POY, Def. POY, 1st team. Seniros Vic Walk and Ben Hoge make 2nd team. I am Conf. COY.

4/23: I ask for a facilities upgrade. No.

26-8. Overall for 4 seasons, 81-50, .618. RPI #22, +8.5 PPG (#11, #142).

10/2: 1st day of practice. We’re picked to win the A 10.

11/6: 7 man rotation:

Juco junior Cal Witt is at PG. He looks like a big time player. Junior Joe Phil starts at SG, subs at PG.

Soph Aron Lonn, a transfer from Auburn, starts at SF, subs at SG. Senior Key Felt subs at SF.

Soph Pat Mack starts at PF, subs at C. Soph Mike Wats subs at PF.

Lar Brag is back at C.

11/20: 2-0. Heading for the Memorial vs. #3 seed Wisconsin, 2-0. We’re #6.

11/21: 91-80. 21, 9 for Brag, 21, 3 for PF Pat Mack.

#2 seed, #7 ranked Memphis, 3-0, in the semis. They’re a big favorite.

11/22: 65-68. 20, 19 for Brag but he didn’t get much help.

12/25: 9-1, ranked #22, RPI #46. +19.2 PPG (#4, #23), +12.6 RBs, +3.5 TOs.

2/26: 24-5, 14-4, #12, RPI #20. +11.9 PPG (#10, #55), +10.1 RBs, +2.9 TOs. We finish 2nd in the A10, 3 back of #7 ranked Duquesne.

3/8: 83-64. Team effort. 9 guys played really well.

#3 seed Dayton, 21-8, 13-5, in the semis. Beat them by 10 and 19.

3/9: 81-70. 21, 7, 6 for guard Joe Phil. 20 for Brag.

#1 seed, #7 ranked Duquesne, 29-4, 17-1, for the title. They crushed us at their place but we’re a 3 ½ point favorite.

3/10: 76-61 and the title. 28, 15 for Brag, 9, 17 for Mike Wats. +20 RBs, only 8 TOs.

27-5, A10 title, #9, RPI #16. Hoping for a #3 or #4 seed.

3/12: #4 West. We play #13 Tennessee-Martin, 19-10.

3/17: 64-57. Thewy played slow down and they kept it close for 35 minutes. 16 for PG Cal Witt. +17 RBs.

#12 seed Iona, 25-7, upset #5. They’re next.

3/19: 94-74. 21, 7, 5 for SF Aron Lonn, 17 for sub forward Key Felt, 15 for Brag.

It’s #1 seed, #3 ranked Georgetown, 30-5, in the Sweet Sixteen. They’re a big favorite.

3/24: 66-81. They were the better team.

4/3: #2 Oklahoma won it all.

4/4: Awards: Brag was A 10 POY, Def. POY, 1st team. Junior guard Cal Witt made 2nd team.

Final stats for 75% O: 110-56, .663. +11.5 PPG. #15, PPG Allowed #37. Shocked at how good we were in PPG Allowed given how little time we spent practicing D.

On to 65% D (30 min. man to man, 15 min. 2-3, 15 min. 3-2, 5 min. man to man full court press.

65% D (30 min. man to man, 15 min. 2-3, 15 min. 3-2, 5 min. man to man full court press.

5/1: #40 recruiting class. We buy the East Gold.

6/26: 3 scholarships.

8/21: We offer to 2 PGs and a PF.

9/18: Lost 2.

Memorial Tourney vs. Providence.

9/25: We get 2 PGs, #96, #117. We lose a big.

10/2: We get a PF, #42.

1st day of practice. We’re picked to finish 5th in the A 10.

11/6: 8 man rotation:

Senior Cory Patt starts at PG. Frosh Ben Hoge starts at SG, subs at PG. Junior Nya Neil subs at SG.

Soph Jon Hays is at SF with soph Rick Coop subbing.

Senior Dal Well starts at PF, subs at C. Frosh Vic Walk subs at PF.

11/22: 77-97. Our D was not present. 16 for 6th man Vic Walk.

12/25: 6-4, RPI #146, +4.0 PPG (#65, #185), +6.6 RBs, -0.7 TOs. We practice D 65 minutes per practice and we’re #185? Okay, I know it’s early.
