8/21: We offer to a PG and 2 SGs.

9/18: Got a PG, #85, lost an SG.

Coaches Classic vs. Wichita ST.

9/25: Got an SG, #62.

Picked to win the A 10.

11/13: 97-78. 29, 13 for Brag, 21, 11 for Kofy, 16, 6 for Jack. +21 RBs. Hell of a front line!

#3 seed, #5 ranked Florida in the 2nd round. VERY tough opponent.

11/15: 59-62. A defensive battle that we were in all the way. 20 for SG Ben Hoge.

11/20: 1-1. Both recruits sign. We’re still chasing a guy but we’re almost out of money.

12/25: 9-1, #16, RPI #7. +14.4 PPG (#17, #86), +5.6 RBs, +6.7 TOs. Brag leads us with 16.0, 10.9.

1/29/2033: 18-1, 9-0, #8, RPI #25. +17.6 PPG (#1, #48), +10.9 RBs, +6.2 TOs. 2 game lead in the A 10. I find it interesting that we spend only 35% of our practice time on Offense and we’re #1 in the nation in PPG. Hm…

2/26: 27-2, 17-1, #5, RPI #11. +18.5 PPG (#1, #23), +11.6 RBs, +6.4 TOs. We win the A 10 by 5 games.

3/7: #8 seed UMass, 16-12, 9-9, in the quarters. Beat them by 16 at their place but only a 1 ½ point favorite.

3/8: 91-78. 21, 5 for PF Lou Jack, 17, 7 for SF Kol Cofy, 15, 9 for Brag, 16 for Hoge. An easy win.

#5 seed ST Joe, 19-11, 10-8, in the semis. Beat them by 13 and again favored by only 1 ½.

3/9: 85-65. 29 for Hoge, 15, 17 for Jack. We weren’t challenged.

#11 seed VCU, 16-15, 8-10, has been ringing up the upsets. We meet them for the title. Beat them by 13 and 8 and we’re a big favorite.

3/10: 77-54. We waltzed through this tournament. 23 each for Brag and Hoge. 14, 9 for Jack.

30-2, #4, RPI #9. I’m guessing a #3 but a #2 is not imposasible. A #4 would be an insult.

3/12: #2 West. We play #15 Evansville, 17-14.

3/17: 78-58. 19, 14 for Brag, 23, 5, 7 for Hoge. +11 TOs.

#7 seed Stanford, 22-9, in the 2nd round. We’re a big favorite.

3/19: 64-54. They played great D, but we hung tough and stayed patient. 17 each for Brag and Jack.

Back in the Sweet Sixteen vs. #3 seed, #10 ranked Syracuse, 23-8. They’re a huge favorite but we think if we play well we can beat them. Won’t be easy though.

3/24: 79-88. They were the better team. They got out to a huge early lead, 23, and we never got closer than 5. We never quit though. 15, 14 for Brag, 19, 8 for Jack.

Another great season.

4/3: #2 Duke is the champ.

4/4: Awards: Junior Lar Brag is A 10 POY, Def. POY, 1st team with soph PF Lou Jack, and senior guard Ben Hoge. Soph Forward Kol Cofy made 2nd team. I got COY.

4/23: I ask for a facilities upgrade. No.

32-3. +17.5 PPG (#3, #19).

Overall, 100-39, .719. Ranked #4, RPI #8. +17.5 PPG (#3, #19).

11/13: We start at the NIT vs. #9 seed New Mexico. We’re #9.

11/14: 82-60. 16, 16 for Brag, 6 guys scored 10 or more. +23 RBs.

#1 seed, #1 ranked Duke in the 2nd round. We have the proverbial two chances in this game. I’m telling my guys to play hard.

11/16: 76-89. Great team! 15, 13 for Brag, 17, 5 for Jack, but we were never in it.

12/25: 8-2, RPI #42. +16.6 PPG (#22, #32), +12.3 RBs, +4.9 TOs.

3/7: We play #8 seed Richmond, 17-12, 9-9 in the quarters. We won by only 4 there, but we’re a huge favorite.

3/8: 93-78. 25, 13 for Brag, 21, 14 for Jack, 23, 3, 6 for Thon. +13 RBs, +8 TOs.

We play #4 seed ST Joe, 20-11, 11-7, next. Beat them by 23 and 18 and we’re a huge favorite again.

3/9: 74-65. They doubled Brag. He got only 4, but had 9 RBs and 7 blocks. 18 for Thon, 13, 10, 4 for Jack.

#3 seed St Bonnie, 23-8, 13-5, for the title. Beat them by 20, then lost by 8 at their place, but we’re a huge favorite yet again.

3/10: 81-74. We led most of the way but they fought hard. 15, 13 for Jck, 12, 11 for Brag, 18 for 6th man Don Feld, 16 for Thon.

27-5, #11, RPI #10. Hoping for a #3.

3/12: #3 South. We face #14 Brown, 21-9.

3/17: 105-91. A total slugfest. Nobody played D. We had the weapons, and we led for all of the 2nd half, but our D was terrible. 23, 6 for 6th man Don Feld, 18, 7, 6, 5 for Brag.

#11 seed Kentucky, 18-13. An off year for Kentucky, but they’re still a great program. We’re not taking this one lightly.

3/19: 73-70. We led all the way but they had a chance to tie it on their final possession; they threw up a three and it rimmed out. 15,10 for Jack, 4 others with 10 or more.

We’re in the Sweet Sixteen for the 3rd year in a row. We play #2 seed, #9 ranked GA Tech, 27-6. They are a very good team and we’re a pretty big underdog.

3/24: 76-84. We played hard but they were the better team. 26, 13 for Brag, 19, 10 for Jack.

4/3: #1 Duke repeats as champ.

4/4: Awards: Lar Brag is A 10 POY, Def. POY, 1st team along with By Thon who is A 10 Frosh OY. Junior Lou Jack made the 2nd team. I am A 10 COY again.

29.6, +13.5 PPG (#2, #116). After 5 seasons, 129-45, .741. I do not understand how a team that spends 65% of its practice time on D, with the 7 players getting significant minutes having Def. ratings of 5, 5, 4, 7, 8, 6, and 5, can be 116th on D. Oh well, on to 75% D for practice time.

Hmmm...good point.

What "Offensive Pace" are you using?

7, which is what I always use, and which I have used in every test association.
