Question about pass routes

I'm designing some offensive plays. I accidentally clicked on Sweep Left for my RB when creating a pass play and thought... that's almost the route I'd like to have! My question is this: If I put this in a pass play, will he run this like a pass route, or will he sometimes take a handoff, even though it's set up as a pass play? Would be great if I could use that as a pass route

if it's a pass play he will not run the ball. As long as he has a pct assigned he should be able to catch the ball. you'll have to test and let us know how it works.

OK, now that sounds awesome. Just added a bunch of pass routes without even trying. I'm setting up my test league in the next couple of days. I"ll let you know what I find out.
