Hey guys, would love some input from those with better knowledge on this segment of the game....here we go.
1. Does the Staff/Coach ability in Scouting to Assess Ability/Assess Potential in any way give you better insight into a rookie in the draft screen?
2. Speaking of Staff, is there any specific guide to what ratings are best for each staff position (ie HC, OC, DC). Obvious Coach Offense is best for OC and Coach Defense is best for DC...but beyond that; does personality affect much, training ratings?
3. When attempting to hire staff it appears I can only make one offer per position and I only get 1 week to offer anyone currently employed. I have yet to ever get a coach hired when attempting to hire from an existing club; they always stay to continue their coordinator careers per the e-mail notification.
4. Scouting the Draft: Is there any rhyme or reason to assigning points? I've tried to go mixed bag based on projected round. I've gone heavy late rounds. I've auto assigned points. And typically I have very few players on my draft board after the second round.
5. Kind of similar to question #1 but when you are looking at a rookie in the draft screen and you see the Confidence bar, if that is 100% is that a "true accurate" picture of the player or is that tempered by the coaches Assess Potential skill?
