Suggestion - Air Yards

I would love to see this kind of stat tracked, mainly bc it might be the biggest single aspect of the game, from what I have noticed, that falls short as a simulation. We just don't see passes going deep through the air, or even intermediate, hardly at all. Almost all big passing gains (20+ yards) are a case of ROTC. I dunno if this is just what we're stuck with or if there is some way to edit the engine. If we could pump up air yards a good 25-40% I think it would look better.

I have noticed that this is def better in newer versions. Please keep pumping up this aspect if at all possible for more realistic results and I think you really have all the main aspect of Football well-simulated. There's always gonna be nitpicks for extra features, I know I am one of the ppl who asks for the most. But for core stuff, if this could be improved I think the game would really be solid.

Now that I've been playing more and more, I have seen the odd actual downfield pass where it's a 40 yard gain that the QB actually did pass the ball 40 yards in the air.
But its WAAAAAY too rare. 99% of big plays are 10-15 air yard passes at most where the receiver jukes/breaks tackles and has a huge YAC gain. We need to see this a lot closer to 50/50 or at least 65/35(65% YAC) for it too look like real NFL football. I have a feeling this would take a major mod of the engine so I don't have much hope but hey you'll never get what u want in life if you don't try to ask for it so here I am. Thanks...

This version we added a deep throw decision where the QB will wait a bit of extra time and will target a deep receiver. We'll continue to improve this as we go. The biggest problem with increasing it too much is that we need a corresponding reduction in other passes to keep overall results in line with norms. So expect small improvements in patches and larger improvements in future versions.
