Not too disappointed. We played fairly well but Hawaii was just too strong. They led at half 56-39. We lost 94-81
Gray SG had 17 pts 5 rebs 3 asts. Alexander Sf 15 pts 7 rebs 3 asts Guinn C added 11 pts 7 rebs

ok, one more tough riad game against Dayton, then our schedule eases up.

UMES Hawks 0-5 @ Dayton Flyers 2-2 Dec 2, 2019

This was suppose to be our toughest game this year. Dayton is in C conference and we played on their court. We lost but we gave them all they could handle. It was close all the way. We just fell short. They won 71-66. We seem to be improving and I am proud of the effort my boys made, Turnovers continue to be killing us.

Kevin Brittian PG had a great game withh 22 pts, 6 asts, 6 rebs. He is a wonderful rebounder for a point guard

Now our schedule eases up a bit and 4 of our next 5 are home games. Nest up Nicholls State at home.

Nicholls St. Colonels 0-5 @ UMES Hawks 0-6 Dec 6, 2019

Both teams came in winless. Nicholls St will just have to keep looking for a win as we finally get our first victory! The first half was tight and they led 40-39. But in the second half we completely dominated them. We outshot and outrebounded them. Final 77-64
TJ Alesander, SF was the player of the game. He had 12 pts, 12 rebs, 3 blks. Butler C was high scorer off the bench. He had 16, hitting 7 of 8 shots

American Eagles 1-5 @ UMES Hawks 1-6 Dec 13, 2019
When you lose your first 6 its really nice to get back to back wins, This one was close all the way. We led 34-30 at half and took it 81-71. We are starting to get a handle on our turnovers which was killing us in our 6 loses.

Princeton Tigers 2-6 @ UMES Hawks 2-6 Dec 20, 2019

We manage to take out the Tigers for our third straight win. We outplayed them in the first half and led 45-28. They played a lot better the second half but never really got close. Final 86-77.

Bevon Gray was player of the game with 23 pts on 7 of 10 shooting. 3 asts, 1 blk, 1 stl. Brittian our PG had his best game getting 15 pts, 7 asts, 5 rebs, 4 blks, 1 stl
