Make it possible to save games in progress

It would be really useful to reinstate an old feature where you could save a game you are running mid-game to be able to come back to it. I tried to do this by clicking the "X" in the upper right hand corner, This closed the game but when I went back into it, it restarted, but seemed to keep some of the stats from the previous unfinished game. IN FACT, the stats are ALL OVER THE PLACE! Ater every play I'll see wildly different stat listings in the box score, going up to 500 yards after one play down to 140 the next.

Will the stats normalize/autocorrect by games end or do I need to start the game over somehow? Is there a way to start it over?

When you exit out of the game it's supposed to finish the game behind the scenes... it's never been a feature to stop and resume games. Are you playing the games or watching replays?

Playing. Oh I see okay it finishes the game behind the scenes thats fine, I remember before you could select "Finish" or something to have the computer call the rest of the plays for one team, then you could select this for the other and you would be exited and the game was completing through Simulation. Two things -

1) Reinstill the ability to have the computer take over one team if you want for the rest of the game while still running yours, or have the computer say run your defense so you can just run the offense

2) THis is broken. When I exited a game, I didnt realize it was done behind the scenes. So I went back into the game, started playing again, and the stats were crazy all over the place. When someone prematurely exits a game, pls make it clearer it's been simulated the rest of the way, and don't allow a user to go back in. I wound with one team having 1100 yards of offense for one game this way. It just added on to what wsa simmed when I went back in to play the 2nd half...

EDIT -
A little more detail - I closed and reloaded the league. The game shows 0-0 and it has not been played. However, looking at the players who would be in the game when played, they all have normal stats they would have accumulated in one game of play. So it's like everything in the game was updated except the actual score, or understanding the game has been played for that matter. Right now, I can't go on until I play the game. When I play it, all the player's in the two games in that game now have the equivalent of two full games on their stat sheet.

Anyone else have this issue? When I hit the X in the upper right the game finishes and I can't "play" it again... only watch or show score/view box.
