Off-season free agency : Position/Role

When I am making offers in free agency (or updating offers) the position and role don't reset and reflect the last player I interacted with.

So if I offer a Center a contract with the role of "Starter"

then go to a DT and update / offer a contact, the DT's position to be played is still listed a C (center) and the role remains starter (or any other role I had previously used on hte last contract)


Its not a huge deal with the role, but the player position does lead to some awkward looks when I accidently tell a QB I plan to play him at center.
