assigning players to correct teams

Planning to create a new league using a player jon file most that was recently posted in DDS:PB20/21 how do I make sure playes remain on their respected teams?

In football you select the option in league creation to "assign to team" instead of the startup draft or auto draft. Not sure in PB20/21
