OPTIONS MENU

Postby whd226 » Sun Jan 17, 2021 11:03 am

I'm guessing this may have been covered before but I cannot find the options menu to save my games. As you might imagine I am very frustrated as I have lost 2 different leagues that I tried to create. There is no point in playing the game if I can't save it. I have downloaded all the patches that I could find. I am playing with version 5.08.

Also make sure you're connected to the internet. If you lose your internet connection it can affect the rendering of the screens.

So you have to be on line in order to play the game? Also that accordion button is missing. The only thing available in the upper left hand corner is the previous page option.

Yea, the platform we use is pulling stylesheets and libraries from the internet and when you lose connection it can't render correctly. In theory it should work if you just run it online the first time so it can cache those files, but it doesn't seem to do that.

Well, I have to chime in here and say that's a bad design and should be rectified. This game should only need to be online if you are exporting a file for an online league.

I agree, but unfortunately we didn't detect the issue with the platform until months after PF released. I have no ETA on a fix and will have to get the platform developer involved to see what the effort would be.
