Just to Confirm

Afternoon,

I just wanted to confirm a couple of things:

1.) All updates will update current associations. If I were to start to an association, I can continue it on through all updates, so I do not have to start over.

2.) Do most of us keep moving forward with saves starting during First Access or do you start over. For me I am not sure, but I would like to continue on as I think I have things starting at a good point. Please realize that I just got to the start of the season, so I want to make sure any engine updates will continue thru.

No, during this period you may NOT be able to keep your association when Gary updates. He always says not to get attached to an association until the final build, probably at the end of this month.

blazertaz: Wayne's got it exactly right. Gary has advised that some of the updates during First Access may require new associations to be created. In fact, 13.0.9 did exactly that and Gary said "YOU WILL HAVE TO RESTART ALL LEAGUES WITH THIS BUILD" at the beginning of his "LATEST UPDATE 2/27 v13.0.9" thread. But as Wayne said, the final update/release is likely to be coming fairly soon.

So do your planning for how you want your association now and you can set it up not long from now. And...if you're planning to do a dynasty thread, you can draft your opening post so you can post to your new dynasty thread immediately when your new long-running association is created.

As I state in multiple places until the game is officially launched files may need to be restarted - we're still in beta so I don't want to turn away changes or good ideas that require adding to the structure of the code and therefore invalidate save games. It is not my intent to have to do that but like Wayne said it happened with the first update and its not likely that it will happen again but it is possible until we get to launch which is scheduled for the 7th
