3/1: We end the season at home vs. Delaware, 11-17, 6-11. We won by 17 there. They have a very good C but on paper it’s a mismatch.
3/2: We score the first 10. Up 9 after 10. They catch up. 43-50 at the break. I’m livid! We blew a 13 point lead. 13, 7 for Redd. No one else is doing anything. -6 RBs.
“I’m enraged. You completely lost your focus. Get in there and bring this one home!”
We take the lead back early. They come back. Up 4 with 10 left to play. Close late.
100-93. We were awful on D. 27, 11 for Redd. 15, 1, 3, 4 for Hill, 12, 6 for Wats, 13, 2, 3 for Newn. +24 inside. 7 fewer TOs.
We end the regular season with a 9 game winning streak, 11 of 12. 22-8, 15-3. We win the conf. by 2 over Drexel, 4 over Monmouth.
3/5: A guy who is never going to play transfers out and we immediately offer to the C who is #16 in the country. No idea whether we can land him.
+6.4 PPG, +6.7 RBs, -2.4 TOs, 11.7 per game.
Dan Wats leads in PPG and RBs with 17.2, 7.4. John Redd gets 14.4, 6.8. Ted Newn gets 11.2, as does Josh Hill. 10., 6.3 for Jay Kosi. 6.1 assists for Dan Pabe.

“I do. We’re very young, and we didn’t play together last year. 4 out of our 5 starters didn’t start last season. It takes awhile, especially with young guys, for things to come together. Finally, they did.”
