SAT score

Just wondering. It seems to me that if Duke, for instance, wants a player who scores 900 on his SAT, they'll sign him anyway. Am I right or wrong about this? Do recruits really need to hit a school's SAT score?

They used to show ineligible later on in recruiting if they didn't meet the schools requirements but I haven't really notice lately if that is still true because guys don't become academically ineligible like they used too. I think most schools have Tudors on staff in the athletic departments now so its rare now.

I'm at Duke and I've had a few recruits not hit our SAT score.
