Our first road trip of the season is a mixed bag, beating #11 and previously unbeaten Marquette 64-52, but then stumbling at Fresno St. as we stunk up the place in the 2nd half at both ends of the floor and could find no way to stop their point guard who scored 32 against us.

after the disappointing loss at Fresno St. we return home to upend #4 Pitt 80-70, then back on the road where we routed a very good New Mexico St. team in our annual bragging rights game 78-57. We capped the road trip by winning conviningly at #12 Stanford 78-60. Despite a 6-0 record against the top 20 with two of those wins on the road, we still are only ranked #3 despite an ENORMOUS top RPI (number 2 is the Pitt team we beat over 100 points behind us). Apparently the pollsters can't get over the fact we lost on the road to Fresno St. who weren't exactly cupcakes. None of that matters..what matters to me is we are finally starting to get our defense together and getting some production out of the Amoeba.

in the meantime, Wyoming, after a quality loss to Pitt went on the road and defeated #17 North Carolina by two in overtime. The Cowboys could be looking at a comeback year. We head back home for a game with Indiana before going out for a rough 3 game road trip heading into the conference season.

after a puzzling 57-55 loss at home to Indiana, we defeated 18 ranked Georgia Tech decisively on the road 68-53, and played solid defense against a high scoring North Carolina St. on the road winning 72-61 despite a hatful of foul trouble in the first half. We finish the non-conference schedule 11-2 and 7-0 against the top 25 (actually the top 18, with 3 of those wins coming on the road). We'll open our conference season with our 3rd straight road game at Colorado St. Air Force, which is supposed to be down this year, didn't get the memo and has recent wins over #15 Kansas and #7 UConn and have an RPI of 35. Wyoming has been impressive as well at times, so the conference schedule may not be the cake walk everyone predicted and have an RPI of 36. TCU is also in the top 100 at 86, and the entire conference appears stronger this year top to bottom with 2 other teams in the top 120.

We enter the conference season still ranked #3 with the nations top RPI.

Mine has been loaded up for the last 3 seasons, but finally returned some of those games on the road this year. Next season, if i play another one, it'll probably be mostly on the road...have tons of games to return.

actually I would love to see the option to schedule home and home, 2 for 1 s, and one time trips in my ideal game... for now i'll settle for not taking a half hour each week to go through recruit cards.

I've always done it manually though.. keep track every year of teams I owe return visits too, and who owes them to me.
