11/15: 87-78. It was close for 22 minutes, then we went on a run. Up 6 at halftime. 30 and 7 for C Andy Ezel, 25, 6, 2, 3 for PF Gene Feld. +28 in the paint. We won it up front. Great start to the season.
Michigan, 1-0, is here. They played great D in their opener but only got 22 RBs.
11/18: 73-49. Fantastic D! It was never close. 17, 7, 2, 3, 3 blocks for Feld. 14 each for Ells, Ezel, and Howe. +34 in the paint. Again this year we’re an inside team.
Big mess regarding terraforming. A super cyclone hit. The robots managed to get themselves and all tools and equipment inside the shack but the winds were so unbelievably strong that they knocked down the shack. All robots survived, none with minor damage, but lots of tools and equipment were blown far away. Despite an extensive search nothing was found. The robots are in the process of 3d printing tools and equipment. We’ll lose a couple of weeks of work time. I guess in a 40 year project that’s no big deal.
Oh, a new shack needs to be printed as well. It’s designed to be movable so the robots can take it with them as they go around the planet. The shack is designed to survive most cyclones but this one was way beyond the force of the cyclones that typically strike here on Mars.
#20, Seton Hall, 1-1, is here. Their C is playing hurt.
11/22: 90-68. Good D again, which always pleases me. Up 15 at the half. 23, 10 for Feld, 23, 6 for sub C/F Greg King, 13, 10 for Ezel, 10, 4, 7 for PG Art Howe. +16 RBs, +30 in the paint.
